Discover the Acerola Cherry, a versatile delight also known as Barbados or Florida Cherry. With its vivid red hue and three distinct ripening stages, each offering a unique flavor profile, this cherry promises a taste adventure with every bite.

In Perth's ideal climate, cultivate your own Acerola cherry tree and relish its juicy, aromatic fruits when fully ripe. Remember, during flowering, shield it from strong winds for optimal fruiting.

However, a cautionary note: when pruning, safeguard yourself with long sleeves and gloves as the foliage harbors tiny, irritating stinging hairs that may trigger allergic reactions. Embrace this exquisite fruit tree, but with precautions for a delightful and safe growing experience!
